전 뭘 자꾸 떨어뜨리는데, 도자기에 스푼 떨어뜨려서 시끄러운소리 계속 남ㅎㅎ

보리굴비와 너비아니 둘중 선택할 수 있는데 오빠랑 나랑 하나씩,
보리굴비는 엄청큼!

저는 한국을 방문한 외국인들에게 추천하고 싶은 식당이에요

Fine Dining with My Boyfriend: An Unforgettable Korean Feast at Bonguri

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to have dinner when we stumbled upon Bonguri. We were so hungry that we just decided to walk into the first place that looked good, and honestly, it was the best decision of the day!

We ordered the "Mat-jeongsik" (The Signature Taste Course), and here’s how the magic happened.

✨ First Impressions & Setting

As soon as we sat down, I was captivated by the table setting. Everything was served on beautiful traditional Korean ceramics. I’m a bit clumsy and kept dropping my spoon, making loud clinking sounds on the ceramic, but the atmosphere remained peaceful and elegant.

🍣 The Course Begins

The food started coming out, and each dish was so delicately plated. We started with some fresh sashimi—two perfect pieces each—and a variety of appetizers. If you like clean, refined, and healthy flavors, this is exactly your style. The attention to detail in the plating and the choice of traditional brassware (Yugi) made the meal feel like a royal experience.

🍖 Hearty Mains

The main dishes were the real stars. We had:

• Kimchi Pancakes: Perfectly bite-sized and crispy.
• Galbi-jjim (Braised Short Ribs): The sauce had such a deep, rich flavor, and the meat was incredibly tender.
• Spicy Dishes: A great way to add a bit of heat to the meal!
• Doenjang-guk (Soybean Paste Soup): This was pure comfort food. It tasted just like a warm, home-cooked meal my mom would make.

🐟 The Grand Finale: Borigoobi & Neobiani

For the final savory course, you can choose between Borigoobi (Dried Barley Corvina) and Neobiani (Grilled Beef Patties). We ordered one of each to share. The Borigoobi was surprisingly large and had that authentic, savory taste that pairs so well with rice.

🍵 A Sweet Ending

We wrapped up the feast with a refreshing Omija tea (five-flavor berry tea), traditional rice cakes, and fresh fruit. I left the restaurant feeling completely full and satisfied!
